CoS - A classification of a given connection's quality. A CoS is a profile that represents a set of attributes associated with the connection. These attributes can include jitter, latency, and data-rate, among other things. For example, a class of service may be labeled ``Voice'' which will have low jitter and latency rates making it suitable for voice transmissions.
