Sorry for any miss-spellings. I am wondering it this script allows for the correct symbols used in the dictionaries? I was cutting and pasting from the Merriam-Webster into a file but all the symbols came out looking funny and unreadable. Does this script have the same issue? If so is there an addon that will fix the problem?

Thanks,
Anna

anna,

Hi. It looks like they (Merriam-Webster) are using plain old 8859-1 encoding...

Try putting this in the headers of your pages:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

If you're using some form of HTML editor, be sure there is no other setting already placed by your page producing software.
