Make Export File
Copy your glossary to an export file to allow import into other applications. The file is normally written as "Export.xml (or .csv)" to the same location as your glossary's data files. If you provide a server file directory Glossary will attempt to output Export.xml to that location (which may be inside your document directory).

GlossXML, is an open glossary transport convention published by Creativyst, Inc.

NOTE: Demonstration (GID) users - The XML File location field is completely ignored in this example. Your Export.xml file will always be written to HERE.

Import Data File
Paste the CSV import file you've exported from a spread sheet or database program into the text area provided here (limit to about 256K per import please).

Use a header row (column names) to tell Creativyst® Glossary which column is the "Term", "Definition", "SeeAlso01", "SeeAlso02", and "SeeAlso03" field. Be shure to label the column names as shown here.

NOTE: Demonstration (GID) users - Files you import are for DEMO purposes only and will not be added to the GID. glossary. To view the database files your uploads are added to, go HERE. and view the A through Z files
