Background Information
Creativyst is pronounced: kree-ATE-tiv-vist
Some terms considered while coining the name:
artist, create, creative, catalyst
The logo graphic, and text are separate and only the graphics portion should be
submitted. When looking at the logo, no one, single thing should suggest
itself to every viewer.
Some examples of possible interpretations may include:
- Two gears intermeshed.
- Two light bulbs viewed from the top, emitting light.
- One person suggested they looked like a virus, that's ok too.
- Anything else relating to creativity, creation, automation,
productivity, business, etc.
General Logo Requirements
There are also the usual set of requirements for a logo:
- It must look acceptable in ortho (e.g. "solid black and
white", "solid gray on white", whatever).
- Related: It must reproduce on a copier well.
- It must look good in relatively small dimensions (e.g. to the
left of the return address on an envelope).
- Related: It must fax acceptably.
- It must look good in flat dimension first. Three-dimensional
effects shall only be considered as a decorative view of the basic
logo.
- The graphic part of the logo SHALL be separate from the typeface.
- If submitted, a favicon.ico should be constructed manually
- Sixteen by 16
is too small for anything to look good in. Also,
conventional image resizing tools are not capable of producing
acceptable
reductions to this small size. For this reason, if a favicon
graphic is submitted, a special
hand constructed file should be produced.

Submission Requirements
- Bitmap formats are acceptable with these minimums:
- If a large size is submitted it should be at least
6000x6000 pixels in original size (before any
resampling to enlarge or reduce). We'll gladly
accept larger formats too.
- Artwork must be rendered and submitted in
24-bit color for all files.
- No "lossy" compression schemes for transport.
- Acceptable formats include: BMP (Windows Bitmap), TIFF,
(ICO for favicon.ico). Others may also be acceptable,
please ask.
- The favicon.ico file, if included, should be in ICO format.

As mentioned, only artwork that displays the graphic portion of the logo
without text is requested. However, suggestions for different text
